This document defines the core operational roles within BoP in accordance with the Constitution (Sections 5 and 8). These roles are designed for sovereignty, decentralization, and immutable accountability.

  • Oversees internal communications and national coordination
  • Manages public-facing media (website, Nostr, Matrix, IPFS, bulletins)
  • Authenticates Node identities (PGP, LNURL, Lightning proofs)
  • Publishes verified updates and ensures protocol discipline

  • Publishes treasury reports to Nostr or IPFS
  • Signs PSBTs and verifies all expenditures publicly

  • Deploys and maintains decentralized voting infra
  • Coordinates updates to IPFS and self-hosted services

  • Represents a geographic node in the BoP Council

  • Maintains uptime and presence in Node operations
